Oct. 9, 2007 — A blown transformer one mile west of Leavitt Lake burned a conductor through power lines between 7:15-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, causing a power outage that affected much of Lassen County.
  

Lassen deputy assists in Modoc bust

Oct. 9, 2007 — Three men from Day, in Modoc County, arrested with assistance from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Department, will be in court again next week facing charges of possession of assault weapons and marijuana cultivation.
