Lassen High School's boys' basketball team No. 5 seed
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
With a win, Lassen heads to No. 2 Enterprise on Friday, Feb 23.
"We've got a good attitude and are playing well right now," Lassen head coach Joe Ray said. "Anything can happen in the playoffs."
The Grizzlies suffered their eighth Westside League loss last Friday, falling to Gridley 71-65.
"The kids played hard and had the shots, but they just didn't fall," Ray said.
Nathan Wheeler, Todd Sarni and Kory Martinson "played with a lot of intensity," Ray said.
The game was called with seven seconds left to play. A referee called the game after thrown from the stands. Ray said it was unknown who threw the pennies.
"The crowd was intense and cheering loud for us, but we need to learn to present ourselves with more class than that," he said.
The loss dropped Lassen's WSL record to 2-8.
