Dyer Mountain EIR finally finished but not released
Lassen County won’t release the final environmental analysis of plans for California’s first new ski resort in 20 years until resort developers Dyer Mountain Associates and Lassen County planners finish negotiating a developer agreement and a mitigation and monitoring plan.
The county Board of Supervisors must approve dividing more than 7,000 acres into 13 lots, the developer agreement and the EIR at the same time, according to Joe Bertotti, the county’s assistant community development director.
“Those are the projects analyzed by the EIR,” Bertotti told the board this morning at its Tuesday, April 17 meeting.
