Attempted murder suspect sought
According to a press release from the Susanville Police Department, the suspects, Marcell Haggins, a 28-year-old Stockton resident, and Khari Woods, a 28-year-old Susanville resident, had fled on foot before the officers arrived.
Officers located and detained Haggins, who gave the officers a false name. Haggins was arrested on charges of being an accessory to commit homicide and burglary. Officers determined Haggins also had a no bail warrant out of the Stockton area.
Woods, the second suspect, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
Woods, who is currently on parole, is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
Anyone with information about Woods’ whereabouts is encouraged to call the SPD at 257-2171. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
