Susanville Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a free community concert at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 featuring former Beach Boy Philip Bardowell. This is Bardowell’s Fall to Rise CD release tour. Comedian Gary King will also perform as a special guest. This should be a fantastic musical event so bring your family and friends to the new church on Spring Ridge Road across from hospital and enjoy a night of laughs and good music. 2007 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

Mike Vivilacqua, owner and smog tech at Mike’s Quality Auto Care Center is back to work and ready to start taking smog appointments again. Mike was off on medical leave to recover from knee replacement surgery. Mike would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and also your patience while he was off work. He is excited to be back to work. Mike states he can perform all smog inspections including “Gross Polluters” and diagnosing and repairing failed smogs that he is famous for. DONKEY BASKETBALL ANYONE?
The Herlong Sports Boosters are sponsoring a Sunday afternoon of thrills, spills, family fun and lots of laughs. Donkey Basketball is the name of the game, and Sunday, Feb. 24 is the day of the event. LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR LITTLE LEAGUE
This Thursday is the last day you can sign your child up for Susanville Little League. Sign-ups will be held in Janesville at the Janesville Pizza Factory from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Feb. 21.
