ANNUAL FARM SALE
Lassen Motor Parts is having its annual Farm Sale beginning at 8 a.m., next Tuesday, April 13. This annual event is a great time to stock up on anything in their store you may need.
AND THE WINNER IS...
Recently the Lassen Oral Health Task Force teamed up with Susanville Supermarket to promote healthy snacks for kids. Throughout Susanville Supermarket, the Tooth Fairy put signs to help determine which snacks were healthy for kids to be eating. Allie Harrison was the lucky contest winner. Not only did Allie win a $50 gift certificate to the store but she also won a basket full of fun oral health surprises.
ATV AND MOTORCYCLES REPAIRS NOW AVAILABLE
Stace Raffelson, owner of Tri-County Marine in Susanville tells us he now has a new mechanic in the shop who specializes in ATV and motorcycle repairs. Raffelson says they still handle all your boating, sea-doo and snow mobile needs as well.

SPIKE CAMP THIS WEEKEND
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting another fun and exciting Spike Camp this Saturday, April 10 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Committee chairperson, Jennifer Lewis informs us tickets will not be sold at the door this year, they must be purchased in advance Tickets will be for sale up until 5 p.m. the day prior at Dal Car Electric or Honey Lake Firearms in Susanville. This event is a great way to introduce hunting to children. Children ages 5 to 17, adults can accompany their children for a fee. Lunch is also included in this fun filled day.
LOVE A CHALLENGE?
Are you and your teammate ready to enter the Lassen County Fair Amazing Race contest? See what teams can survive! Five teams of two will be chosen to spend the entire week (duration) at the fairgrounds in Susanville and compete in an Amazing Race competition. Teams will have no money of their own, will not be allowed any technical devices and will have daily tasks. Contestants must eat fair food the entire time. For official rules and regulations visit lassencountyfair.org. Deadline to enter is April 8.

Listen to the music of Night Owl Productions, featuring Craig and Janie Ibanez, from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday night April 9 at Thunder Joes. Be sure to try their BBQ tri-tip, pork ribs and the spicy pulled pork while you relax and enjoy the music. Thunder Joes is located across from the high school on Main Street in Susanville.
RAG BAG BREAST CANCER AWARENESS KITS
Loretta Green owner of Green Stitches has her new supply of Breast Cancer Awareness Rag Bag kits in. “The Rag Bag fabric features the traditional pink breast cancer ribbons” says to Green. With every kit purchased Green Stitches will donate 25 percent to promote breast cancer awareness.
