NEED SOME GOLF LESSONS?   

Dan Kowall of Diamond Mountain Golf Club tells us he is a PGA Teaching Professional now available for private lessons. Tim Mooney, USGTF PGA Teaching Professional, of Lake Almanor, offers private playing lessons, as well as golf clinics twice a week. The clinics are on Wednesdays and Saturdays. GENTLEY USED  

Nu 2 U is open in Uptown Susanville with gently used quality fashions, household items and more. Nu 2 U is a second hand store that benefits Mountain Circle Family Services Inc., programs for foster children. In addition to accepting local donations, they are also looking for volunteers who would like to make a difference. They are located in the alley on North Lassen Street next to City Hall.

Marette Wakeman, owner, is happy to announce the re-opening of M&M Treasures now called Simply Treasures on May 18.  Marette and Gaylynn Garcia, manager, are very excited to serve Susanville with the new look of the shop and continued discounted prices. Marette said she truly appreciates Sharon Olinger for her devotion while at M&M Treasues and wishes her success in her upcoming endeavors. NEED FUND RAISERS    

The Lassen County Fair is looking for a few organizations to help with some services during the fair time. These services are paid and can be used as a fundraiser. If your group is interested in this fund-raising opportunity at the fair grounds please contact the office.

SAVE THE DATE   

Joan Moran has been a teacher in Lassen County for 41 years. She had decided it's time to retire. There will be a retirement party for her on June 4th at the Grange Hall in Johnstonville.
