WELCOME NEW DENTAL DIRECTOR
Lassen Indian Health Center tells us Dr. Tiffany Gorr is their new dental director. The LIHC will be hosting an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 24 to give you a chance to meet Gorr and the other clinical staff members. Lassen Indian Health Center also announces that it is now accepting non-Native patients at its practice. Contact its offices for more information.

Hair Hunters Salon in Uptown Susanville is pleased to welcome new stylist Shaylee Unterreiner to their team. Unterreiner comes from a long line of barbers and is the third generation to enter the profession.

MAIN STREET CRUISE IN SUSANVILLE
It's the 20th annual Main Street Cruise in Susanville this Saturday, June 26. The fun begins at 1 p.m. in Historic Uptown Susanville. From 1 to 4 p.m., is the Show & Shine Uptown. Then the festivities move to the Casino for an awards presentation and barbeque. Then that evening beginning at 8 p.m. there will be live music at the Casino. Check out the ad in today's paper for more information.
There will be another High Seas Expedition this summer. This time the fun takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 5-9 in the Lassen High School Student Center. It's for children ages 4 through 6th grade. To register stop by 110 N. Gay St., Community Evangelical Church, there is a small fee for this adventure.
C & K DANCE CAMP
It's that time again for the 4th annual C & K Dance Camp put on by local dancers Celeste Blakeman and Katherine Collett. Seanne McElrath will be instructing the boys. This camp is open to both boys and girls. The camp will be at Memorial Park June 28 to 30. Kids ages 3-8 will be from 9 a.m. to noon, ages 9-17 and boys will be from 1 - 4 p.m. These fun-filled three days will be spent learning dance techniques (to be performed at the Miss Lassen County Pageant at this years Fair) and if you have attended in the past, remember the water fight! OPEN DURING THE CRUISE
There will be a lot going on Uptown this Saturday with the Main Street Cruise. Tammi Montgomery, owner of Primo Deli informs us she will be open that day beginning at 11 a.m., and plans on staying open during the Uptown festivities.

With the golf season in full swing, time to think about those junior golfers getting out on the course. The annual Junior Golf Camp at Diamond Mountain Golf Club is set for July 6-8 this year. Dan Kowall will be teaching along with Dave Caughey and Tim Mooney. It's for kids ages 6 to 16 years.

SUSANVILLE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL
More than 11 bluegrass bands will be performing for this three-day event located at the Lassen County Fairgrounds on June 25 through June 27. There will be children’s activities, craft and food venders, fun for the entire family.

RECEIVES QUANTUM LEAP AWARD
