Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 — Lassen High School welcomed the most recent international students to its head count. From Asia to Europe, the five new students are adapting to living in a new culture and are participating in clubs and activities.

Katrina Fu, 18, a Rotary International Exchange Student from Taiwan is excited to see various parts of the United States, especially New York City, when she goes on a trip with fellow Rotary exchange students.

Some of her hobbies include shopping and dancing, and she is looking to participate in some form of dancing while she is here, and she also briefly participated in cross country.

She has one older sister who is studying in Japan.

The size of Susanville was shocking to her since she comes from around Taipei, a city with a couple million people.
