James Morries Gilbert

James Morries Gilbert, of Susanville, died Oct. 9, 2014. He was born July 26, 1949 in Alameda, California.

He is survived by wife, Neala, and friends.

Mary Ann Riddle

Mary Ann Riddle passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Sparks, Nevada. Mary Ann had been a resident of Janesville since 1987 when she relocated from Sacramento, California to take a job at the California Correctional Center. Mary Ann worked for several years at CCC as a correctional case records analyst, retiring in 2002. Her death followed a long and valiant fight against cancer.

Her parents, Troy James Riddle and Mabel Jackson, as well as her stepfather, Carl Jackson, preceded Mary Ann in death.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty Stephens, of Sparks, and Judy Stewart and husband, John, of Janesville; and nieces, Deborah Horn and husband, Eric, of El Dorado Hills, California, Stephanie Arnold and husband, Albert, of Janesville, Kimmie Stephens, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Amanda Rider and husband, Gary, of Sparks. Grand-nieces and nephews, Jason Alosi, Christina and Chad Arnold, and Madison and Gary Rider, also survive Mary Ann.

The family will hold private graveside services at Diamond Crest Cemetery in Susanville.
