Theodore Lee Friedline II
Theodore Lee Friedline II was born June 8, 1980, in Susanville, Calif., and found his peace on Sept. 30, 2011, in Plano, Texas.
His early years were spent in California, Nevada and Texas with his mother, Lisa Stewart. Ted II returned to Susanville in 1993 to start a new life with his father, Ted Friedline and step-mother, Anita Osborn. In 1994, he became a big brother to Skyler and again in 1996, big brother to Carson. He stayed in Susanville until 1997, attending area schools, playing trumpet and playing sports. The family is grateful to those who welcomed this city-boy from Dallas into small-town Susanville during those years.
Ted II was smart, loving, charming and affectionate. He enjoyed motorcycles, hockey and professional fights. Ted was at his best when he was in his “big brother” shoes. His heart would melt for his little brothers, because his heart was truly tender. Throughout his life, that tenderness was obvious when he held a baby, hugged someone he loved, or played with his beloved dog, Icon, whom he shared with his dear friend Jennifer Lein, of Richardson, Texas.
Ted II is survived by his parents, Ted Friedline and Anita Osborn of Susanville; mother Lisa (Belson) Stewart, of Reno, Nev.; brothers, Skyler and Carson Friedline, of Susanville; grandmothers, Julia Houser, of Susanville and Patsy Gracy, of Sparks, Nev.; aunts and uncles Steve (and Jennifer) Friedline, of Bishop, Calif., Liz (and Jerry) Simcox, of Bishop, Calif., Teri (and Ron) Rodrigues, of Sparks, Nev. and Tami Belson of Sparks, Nev.; cousin Tina Glock, of Sparks, Nev.; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Donations in the name of Ted Friedline II may be made to the Lassen Park Foundation, P.O. Box 3155, Chico, CA 95927.
