Single vehicle accident causes another power outage on Richmond Road

Saturday, Sept. 8 - Residents in the Richmond Road area are experiencing a power outage this morning due to a vehicle running into a power pole near Josie Way.

According to LMUD, a crew is on scene and it is unknown when power will be restored.

According to Donnie Privett, a captain at the Susanville Interagency Fire Center, emergency crews responded to the accident around 6:05 a.m. One patient has been transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center. According to Privett, the vehicle was holding up the power pole. Susanville Fire Department, Calfire, Susan River Fire Department and Semsa responded to the scene.
