Request for Public Comment/Review: Initial Study - Mitigated Negative Declaration, Butte Creek Restoration Project

The Pit Resource Conservation District (RCD), acting as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has submitted a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Butte Creek Restoration Project. The public is invited to review and comment on this report. The Pit RCD intends to adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration after receiving comments from Trustee and Responsible Agencies, and the public. The project involves restoring the Butte Creek in northeast Lassen County near Adin by implementing the “pond and plug” restoration technique. The Pit RCD will receive comments between September 11th and October 11th, which are the starting and ending dates for the review period.
