Highway 36 culvert project will force traffic delays

Oct. 11, 2012 — A project will begin next week to work on a flood control culvert along Highway 36 between Johnstonville and Susanville, approximately one half mile west of Highway 395.

The project should run from 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 through 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18. Up to 30 minute delays are expected. Traffic control will be one unpaved lane 24 hours per day. Local traffic is advised to use alternative routes if possible.
