HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL OF FUN
Janesville School will be hosting their annual Halloween Carnival of Fun from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 in the Janesville School Gymnasium. There will be carnival-style game booths, cake walk, horse drawn hayride, picture booth, haunted house and much, much, more! Concessions will include hot dogs, nachos, pizza, ice cream floats and drinks. Admission is free. Booth tickets are available at the door.
Bring the whole family out, have dinner and help support the eighth-grade class’ fundraiser.

FLU SHOTS AND TURKEY BUCKS
Anna Stewart, co-owner of Susanville Supermarket, would like everyone to know flu shots are available at their store from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 24, for $2. You can do your shopping and get your shot all in one location.
Also on Oct. 24, Turkey Bucks will start be awarded. For every $25 you spend, you get a Turkey Buck. You can use your Turkey Bucks to purchase your holiday turkey at Susanville Supermarket.
NEW NAME
Monte and Joanie Kielty, owners and pet lovers of Treats in Susanville and Chester, have been listening to their customers. Monte said if there is something you need and don't see it in their store(s), just ask them and they will do their darndest to get it for you. With all of the new items they carry in store, they changed up their name a bit. Now they are Treats Natural Pet Marketplace. Because not only do they carry dog and cat food, they have exotic bird, small animal and reptile food and accessories.
NEW FALL HOURS
Every Bloomin' Thing has changed their hours a bit. Owner Melissa McCoy tells us she is now open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. Her gift shop is full of everything you need to get your home decorated for fall or Halloween. Before long the Christmas trees and decorations will be hung.
NEW REAL ESTATE OFFICE OPEN

ARTISTS FEATURED AT ARTISAN COFFEE
Norma DeBaker, dichroic fused glass artist, tells us she has many new jewelry and fused glass items. She, along with Patricia Neely and her wildlife photos, and Martha Horan and her hand-crafted scarves and hats, will be at Artisan Coffee in Janesville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 27.
HALLOWEEN PARTY IN WESTWOOD
Bridgett and Tim Bustamante, owners of Moonlight Bar & Grill in Westwood, are hosting a Halloween Party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. this Saturday, Oct. 27. Come have a howling good time with live music from Northern Traditionz; there will be a costume contest, cash prizes, a raffle and drink specials.
