Support group to gather in front of courthouse before arraignment

Monday, Nov. 19 — A mother plans to gather a group of supporters for her son who is being held to answer on felony charges of alleged assault with a deadly weapon and negligently discharging a firearm.

Friends, family and other supporters of Joseph Allen Seabourn,  20, of Susanville, will meet in front of the Lassen Superior Court Hall of Justice at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Seabourn is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon to be arraigned on the felony charges, as well as alleged serious bodily injury enhancements.

A Oct. 25 preliminary hearing found sufficient evidence for Seabourn to be held to answer to the alleged charges. A third charge  of allegedly shooting at an inhabited dwelling was also added.

Hey, I got an idea, just give him a mini-14 and he would make a great prison guard... Or I'm sorry "Correctional Officer." Sounds like he's ready to "correct" someone alright! :-?

I would have done the same thing if I woke up to a stranger in my home attacking my brother. The only rain the man that broke into the house isn't incarcera is because he is an informant for the DA. That's not justice that's small town politics for ya.

I'm curious about what really happened. It says the third charge is firing a him AT an inhabited dwelling. After his brother was stabbed did he go shoot at this guys house?
