Police department seeks information regarding armed robbery

Friday, Nov. 23 — The Susanville Police Department (SPD) is seeking any information regarding an alleged armed robbery at Beacon gas station at 1001 Main St.

According to a press release from the SPD, officers responded to the gas station at approximately 3 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22. Upon arrival, they spoke with a clerk who reported two subjects held him up at gunpoint. The suspects then exited the store after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported during the incident.

It is good to hear that the clerk wasn't injured during the hold-up. Did the Beacon gas station have any form of video/camera setup just in case something of this nature would more than likely happen. Alleged robbery? Either there was or there wasn't. If two men didn't do it then go figure.

3'00 A.M. Is the sign of desperate tweaker's, who need a fix.They either are familiar with Susanville and are stupid enoough to remain in the area. Or they have traveled to Paradise. Home of the big tweakers. I know Law Enforcement will catch these thug's. Just look for skinny men, and bones. :-*

I once was a tweaker.Yes I did live in Paradise. I lost 2 homes for being a tweaker in Paradise. I hate Meth today and I know that if you dont get help. You will rob good people like those here in Susanville. Beleive me Admode. I am grateful for my turn around. Yes! I am who you think I am.
