GLUTEN-FREE TASTING
The Health Nut invites everyone to their gluten-free tasting party from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29. Linda Owings will be serving up some delicious holiday-themed desserts, cookies, pumpkin pie, bread-stuffing and even a minestrone soup — all are gluten-free. SEE'S CANDIES NOW AVAILABLE
Soroptimist of Susanville is once again selling See’s Candies for the holiday season. They are available beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 28 through Dec. 23. You will find them at Beauty Corral, Giovanna's, Leslie's Jewelry, Sierra Jewelry and IGA Susanville Supermarket. They are only available at the grocery store from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. on the weekends.
HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW AT FAIRGROUNDS
It's time for the annual Holiday Craft Show at the Lassen County Fairgrounds this Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1.

SANTA’S SLEIGH DAYS THIS WEEK
This week you’ll find the annual Santa’s Sleigh Days supplement in your local paper, filled with fabulous buys from the 25 local merchants participating in this year’s event.
You can enter at each of the businesses to win your share of the $500 in shopping spree giveaways. Six businesses have been selected at random to award $50 shopping sprees this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 29 and 30, and you can start entering today. 12TH ANNUAL FRIENDS IN ART SHOW
Local jewelry designer Edith Schwirian tells us it’s time again for the 12th annual Friends in Art Show featuring several local artists. The show will be held Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8 at Artisan Coffee in Janesville. Refreshments will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and the show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. EXTENDED HOLIDAY HOURS

COAT DRIVE FOR SENIORS
Jessika Johnson, community relations director for Eagle Lake Village Senior Living Community, is letting everyone know they are hosting a coat drive for seniors in need in our community. Drop off your new or gently-used coats at their center at 2001 Paul Bunyan Road in Susanville. Distribution of donated coats will take place the second week in December.
