John Edward Murrer
John Edward Murrer, son of Emma Lee and Alfred, passed away peacefully in his own home Nov. 25, 2012, at the age of 59.
He was a lifelong resident of Lassen County, living on the family ranch in Willow Creek Valley.
He is survived by wife, Shirley; daughter, Mariah; son, Derek; and many relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at Lassen Cemetery.

Thomas Brewer, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 in Susanville. He was born Aug. 20, 1947 in Tacoma, Wash.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Walton’s Colonial Chapel.
Albert A. Hugon
Retired California Highway patrol Officer Albert A. "Al" Hugon, 93, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Seneca Health Care District Hospital.
He was born in Villar Pellice, Italy Oct. 6, 1919 to Prosper and Virginia Hugon.
Al is survived by his step-daughter, Carol Lee Barenchi; her husband, Rick, of Chester; step-granddaughters, Teresa, Tracy and Angela, along with nephews, Albert and Deno Hugon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; stepson, Steven Hunt; and brother, Skip.
