NEW HOURS, ROCK WITH US ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
The recent fire at Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon means they won’t be serving their famous fish and chips while they are doing reconstruction. The good news is the bar is open four evenings a week starting at 5 p.m. Stop by for fresh ales, craft cocktails and good company.
Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon is open from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Bar Service Only.
Lassen Ale Works will be open for New Year’s Eve and Rockasaurs will be there to rock the house until 1 a.m. They will be closed today, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Stop in as they have lots to celebrate!
MOBILE SPRAY TANNING SERVICES
If you’re feeling the need for a warm summer glow in the middle of winter, then consider calling Kimber Azevedo, owner of Suddenly Sun Kissed, a local mobile spray tanning service.
“I have recently been doing tanning parties offering full body or just leg spray on tanning for the ladies who would like to get together with their friends” she said.
Plus, you can book an appointment in the privacy of your own home, or at Hair Hunters in Uptown Susanville. Azevedo uses South Seas Tanning Solutions and Norvell natural-based tanning products. You can reach her at 249-1489 or on her Facebook page to book an appointment today.
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY
One of the coolest parties in town this New Year’s Eve is at Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel. They are offering their delicious Prime Rib and Seafood Dinner Buffet starting at 6 p.m. The music by “Timeless” starts at 9 p.m. and the party goes until 1:30 a.m. So gather up your friends and pick up your tickets to ring in the new year. Be sure to see their ad in this week’s paper for their party and room packages, too!
MR INTERNATIONAL NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY
Jackie McNally, owner of Country Sunshine Tanning Salon in Uptown Susanville, has teamed up with MR International to participate in their international New Year’s Eve party. Just bring yourself and your friends to the salon for complimentary appetizers and refreshments up until midnight.
“We’ve got lots of great goodies to give away in our free drawings, and are hoping to have live music, too,” she said.
Hair stylist and color specialist Rikki (at Country Sunshine Tanning Salon) is pleased to announce she has just added a new permanent chemical straightening system for those of you who are tired of the daily ironing of your curly hair. Unlike the Keratin Express Blow Out, this is a permanent system, which is not reversible. See her ad for more information.
NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE WHITE HOUSE
Tom and Joy Lim are gearing up for their annual Prime Rib Dinner special for New Year’s Eve at The White House. Last year was a sell out event so don’t miss out on tasting this delicious dinner. Get out of the house and let them do all the cooking; you can enjoy good food and conversation with your loved ones. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. See their ad for all the details.
