Nominate a special education worker
Feb. 7, 2013 — Special education students, parents and teachers of students with special needs can nominate someone who makes a difference in the lives of students with special needs.
Award recipients will be recognized during the first appreciation night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at the Meadow View School gym presented by the Community Advisory Committee and the Lassen County SELPA.
People may nominate only one person per child in special education. For example, students can nominate someone they feel has made a difference in their education/life; parents can nominate someone who has helped them or their child with success; professionals may nominate one student or one parent or staff they feel has put forth great effort to succeed.
For more information or to get a nomination form, call the Lassen County Office of Education at 257-7266.
Forms should be mailed to the Lassen County Office of Education, Attention SEPLA, 472-013 Johnstonville Road, Susanville, CA 96130 by Thursday, Feb. 28.
Award recipients and their nominators will be notified by March 7.
