College celebrates Black History Month
Feb. 27, 2013 — On Thursday, Feb. 28, Lassen Community College (LCC) will be celebrating Black History Month. There will be a luncheon at noon in the cafeteria with fried chicken, greens, macaroni and cheese and sweet potato pie for desert.
At 6 p.m. that evening, there will be a special program in Middleton Hall with local musical performances, guest speakers and a surprise performance.
Appearing on campus will be Louis Price, former lead singer of The Temptations and The Drifters.
