Parade entries for Paul Bunyan Festival sought
June 10, 2013 — Organizers for the Paul Bunyan Mountain and Blues Festival Parade are accepting entries. Currently, there are 20 entries for the Saturday, July 6 event but there is room for many more. To enter, send an email with contact information to Debbie Christie at firstname.lastname@example.org or Diana DesFosses at email@example.com. There are no application forms.
The parade organizers would like to finalize the lineup one week before the event. All ideas are considered, including a group of children on decorated bicycles.
The theme for the parade is the same as the centennial events — “100 years of people helping people.” The parade is at 10:30 a.m. and the route is along Ash and Third streets.
