Honey Lake Valley Grange celebrates re-opening this Saturday
July 29, 2013 — The Honey Lake Valley Grange, located on Theatre Road in Johnstonville, invites the public to attend its grand re-opening held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3 at its recently remodeled 120-year-old grange hall.
The public can learn about the national grange organization and its beginnings in the Civil War era.
Information also will be available on local agriculture programs and where to buy locally grown produce and meats. The event also features exhibits from local crafters, farmers, food vendors, country music and much more.
Floyd A. Boyd Company, of Fall River Mills, will display John Deere products, and Green House Solutions, of Redwood Valley, will exhibit a greenhouse and samples of other products,
The Grange Hall once again is available for rental — birthdays, family reunions, company parties, receptions, dances, fundraisers and much more.
