HELPING DURING THE HOLIDAYS
Ronald Branvold, DC tells us that Susanville Chiropractic Clinic will be offering adjustments for a $20 cash donation today, Dec. 22 to raise money for needy families in the area. “We are not billing insurance today, so we are offering an adjustment for existing clients and free X-rays with an adjustment for new clients on this one day in order to raise money for those less fortunate during the holiday season,” according to Branvold. If you know a family who needs help you can submit a written nomination and drop it off at their office this week. So if shoveling snow has left you with a pain in your spine, get an adjustment and do a good deed today.

SANTA'S SLEIGH DAYS

It's a busy week in Susanville this week. We kick off Santa's Sleigh Days today. There are lots of reasons to be out shopping locally this week.  Be sure and take a look at the special insert in today's paper with the participating merchants ads and specials. It's a perfect way to start your holiday shopping season and Think Local First.

It's also that time of year when we want to give back to our community. This week we will be collecting non-perishable food items, local gift certificates and or new toys.  If you want to help those in our community in need this holiday season, you can drop off any of your donated items to any of the participating merchants. All items will be donated to Lassen Family Services, Salvation Army (in Susanville) and Crossroads Ministries.
