ART AND OIL PAINTINGS
Gery & Sherry’s (Jones) Creations may not be able to attend the local craft fairs this year. Sherry tells us Gery recently had an entire knee replacement. If you would like to see Sherry’s original oil paintings or prints, as well as their creations of fine art (steel birds and animals), you can see them at Dave Mahan’s Art Gallery. The Gallery is located in Uptown Susanville, next to Johnson’s Shoes. You can reach Gery and Sherry at 253-3520.

A BEAUTIFUL YOU FOR VALENTINE’S
Karma Honeycutt at the Chatterbox Salon and her staff are ready to give you a fabulous new color, cut and style for your upcoming date night with your sweetheart. “It’s pretty common for people to get in a beauty rut and keep the same color and cut for years because they are nervous about making any kind of changes to update their look.”
According to Honeycutt, “Our staff of highly trained and educated beauty professionals are here to offer our clients personal consultations and make suggestions based upon using the latest techniques in the hair care industry.” A good rule of thumb is if you can look at a picture from a decade ago or more and your style hasn’t changed, you may be in a beauty rut. Their staff is available for appointments Monday through Saturday and you can reach them at 257-5005.
