SOROPTIMIST SELF-ESTEEM PROGRAM

Soroptimist International of Susanville is hosting their self-esteem program and luncheon from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1. This program encourages girls (ages 9-12) and their mothers or adult female mentor to be their guests at the Monticola Club, where they will be serving a free lunch to those attending. The event is designed to educate and inspire girls on a wider definition of making them feel more confident about themselves. Space is limited, and reservations must be made by March 15 by calling Cindy DeMasi at 260-1759, or email her at [email protected]. See their ad in this week’s paper for more information.

NEW REALTOR AT SMITH PROPERTIES

Larry and Donna Smith, of Smith Properties, welcome new Realtor Sarah Leef to their office. Sarah recently moved to the Susanville area with her husband and daughter. She is very excited to be in the real estate field. She said she has always had a love for real estate, now with her daughter a bit older she said it’s the right time to start working again. A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND THAT

With the crazy winter we had, Dale Joseph, owner of Dalcar Electrical Plumbing and Heating Supply in Johnstonville, reminds us he has generator cords (if we happen to loose power again), heaters for the wall and little electric ones, too. Then when spring rolls around (soon, we hope), he does have sprinkler supplies as well. Be sure and stop by his store next to the Johnstonville Market, you’ll be surprised at everything he has out there. You can give him a call at 257-5091.
