All fireworks must be California State Fire Marshall approved as “Safe and Sane.”

Fireworks are for sale and use only inside the city limits. Fireworks may not be transported outside the city limits.

Fireworks may be purchased in Susanville from June 28 through noon July 6. They may not be sold, given or delivered to anyone under 16 years of age.

Fireworks may only be used between 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 4 and 2 a.m. Thursday, July 5.

Fireworks that are not used correctly may cause a fire. Fires can cause severe burns and even death.
