NEW SERVICES AT THEIR NEW LOCATION
Jeff Chew, owner of the Susanville Pizza Factory, tells us that he’s now offering six beers on tap and three wines at his new restaurant location next to Payless Shoe store. Plus, he’s added 10 daily lunch specials, appetizers — including potato skins — and desserts. “We’ve had a lot of requests over the years to add dessert, so we’ve added giant brownies, chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake to the menu,” Chew said. If you’re in a hurry they even have a grab and go salad refrigerator. With graduation and summer coming, get out of the kitchen and treat the family to lunch or dinner at the Susanville Pizza Factory today.

They are at it again. State Farm/Brian Wilson, Gold Run Realty and Idaho Grocery are hosting a barbecue for their customers this Friday, June 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will be in the State Farm parking lot, they will be serving up tri-tip sandwiches, hot dogs and chorizos!
SUSANVILLE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL
There will be more than 11 bluegrass bands performing at the Susanville Bluegrass Festival. For this three-day event from Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26 located at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. There will be children’s activities, craft and food venders in what promises to be fun for the entire family. Be sure to purchase your three-day pass and enjoy the entire Bluegrass Festival. ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK DINNER
Mark your calendars for the 22nd annual Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet set for Saturday, June 18. The festivities are being held at the National Guard Armory in the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Tickets can now be purchased at Honey Lake Firearms or DalCar Electric in Susanville.
VILLAGE GOURMET IS BLOOMIN'

FATHER’S DAY FIRST BABY CONTEST
In honor of Father’s Day, the Lassen County CattleWomen will be awarding a $75 beef gift certificate to the first baby born on Father’s Day at the Banner Lassen Medical Center. “Beef is a practical gift because it’s delicious and nutritious,” according to Carrie Satica from the CattleWomen Association.
