Tuesday, March 25, 2014 — The Honey Lake Valley Recreation Authority continues to move forward with its plans to build a community pool in the city of Susanville.
The authority unanimously approved awarding a $21,000 contract to Siegfried Engineering to determine what it would take to bring the old Roosevelt Pool back on line. A second firm, Garavaglia Architecture, submitted a $59,550 quote in response to a request for proposal from the authority.
Siegfried would review several options, including razing the building and making Roosevelt Pool an open-air facility.
