Dial-A-Ride extends hours

Tuesday, July 29, 2014 — As a result of the lack of a subsidized vehicle for hire program, the Lassen Rural Bus is extending service hours for its Dial-A-Ride program.

The county transportation staff was directed by the Lassen Transit Service Agency to find a way to ease difficulties for those who benefited from the subsidized vehicle-for-hire program.

Starting Aug. 1, the Dial-A-Ride program will be serving participants from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.

For the full story and other local stories, read the Tuesday, July 29, 2014 edition of the Lassen County Times.
