Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 — Susanville Supermarket IGA is gearing up for its biggest Hometown Proud Kids Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
“It’s by far the biggest event we’ve done,” said IGA store manager Todd Eid.
The day will feature activities, food and booths, but all donations will go to support local Kolby Loflin and his battle against leukemia.
“The cause is close to my heart, and to the store,” said Eid.
Loflin’s father has worked at the store for many years, according to Eid, and even Kolby Loflin is employed at the local supermarket.
