NOW OFFERING HEART SUPPLEMENTS

Love Your Heart. It's National Health Month and The Health Nut is celebrating by featuring many heart-healthy supplements. They recommend Nordic Naturals Omega 3 products, Now Foods Coenzyme Q 10 and Country Life Target Minerals Magnesium. Omega 3 reduces inflammation in the cardiovascular system, coenzyme Q 10 provides ATP, the spark of energy in the mitochondria so important for your heart, and magnesium acts as a smooth muscle relaxant that calms irregular heartbeats. Pick up some healthy sweets for your sweetie — like Chocolove dark chocolates in several delicious flavors. A Valentine's gift sure to be loved, Stephenie Young, massage therapist, is offering one-hour massage Valentine gift certificates.

CRAB FEED

Susanville Elk's Lodge is hosting its annual Crab Feed on Feb. 28 and March 1. No-host cocktails are at 6 p.m. and dinner is set for 7 p.m. This year they’ve added prawns to the menu. Tickets are now available by calling the Elk's at 257-4810, or the Chamber of Commerce office at 257-4323.

THEY'RE BACK

The ladies from Hodge Podge Lodge recently attended the World Market in Las Vegas. They were busy buying for the entire year, even Christmas inventory. Owner Kelly Smith is excited about all the new products they have coming.

NOW SERVING BEER AND WINE

Valentine’s Day is this Friday. If you're thinking of taking your sweetie out to dinner, it's a good idea to make reservations, says Mark Nareau, owner of Little Italy. He said they also just got their beer and wine license, so you can enjoy a beverage with your delicious Italian meals. Remember, if you don't feel like going out to dinner (or lunch), they deliver or you can grab it to go. Give them a call at 257-2525, or visit them at 950 Main St., in Susanville.
