REIKI SERVICES NOW AVAILABLE
Reiki is an ancient spiritual healing art that uses the hands to transmit Universal Life Force Energy to support the body’s inherent self-healing abilities. Dr. Branvold at the Susanville Chiropractic Clinic tells us he’s pleased to be offering Reiki services by Suzi Krause. According to Krause, “Reiki is a subtle and effective form of energy healing which brings about physical, mental and emotional, and spiritual well being.” You can schedule an appointment with Krause at 260-3373.
COMPASSIONATE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Andria Cuypers, director for Honey Lake Hospice, tells us they will be holding their annual 18-hour training classes starting March 13 at the former S.T.A.R. Physical Therapy building at 711 in Uptown Susanville. If you have a desire and compassion to be a Hospice volunteer, or would like to learn more about end-of-life issues, then join them at this year’s training classes. SENSATIONAL SUNDAY BRUNCH
Margaret Liddiard, manager and owner of the Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon wants to remind you that they have a great selection of breakfast favorites being served at their Sunday Brunch. Every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can enjoy omelets, eggs benedict, specialty drinks and their new coffee bar with your family and friends. Plus they have a non-alcoholic specialty drink menu.
“Sunday brunch is a great way to catch up with your loved one’s while being treated to a delicious meal, made fresh to order,” Liddiard tells us.
Arlin Billington, owner of Billington Ace Hardware, tells us they are celebrating its 24th anniversary in February.
“The store has really grown and made a lot of changes throughout the years, and we are continuing to stay on top of the retail trends in the area,” said Billington. “We recently added the Valspar line of VOC free paint.”
Employee Susan Matteri has more than 17 years as a paint specialist and has just completed training on their new Color Pro computerized color blend colorant system.
“We value all of our customers who have supported the store the last 24 years, and we look forward to continuing to provide the personalized, professional service you can depend on,” he adds.
