Hanson schedules meeting with constituents

July 18, 2012 — Lassen County District 5 Supervisor Jack Hanson has scheduled an informal meeting so he and stake holders in the South County can “frankly and openly discuss the relationship between the residents of South County and Lassen County.”

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 in the Chapel at the Fort Sage Resource Center in Herlong.

“The purpose of the meeting,” Hanson wrote in a letter to his constituents, “is to redefine the vision for the community and what part I can play in achieving the vision. In the opinion of the community, what role, if any, should the county play in the revitalization of South County?”

Hanson wrote the community’s input was important, and the meeting is open to all parties.

Those with questions and comments can contact Hanson at hansonwcranch@frontier.com or call him at 251-6452.
