Zack Solis and Cody Peters (not pictured) announce Quantum Computing mobile computer service and repair has now opened an office at 2055-A Main St. in Susanville. Quantum Computing has been servicing the Lassen County area for three years and with their new offices you can now drop off your computer from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., 7 days a week or just call them at 257-8390 and they’ll pick up your system. Quantum Computing also offers networking services for business and residential customers.

SMITH PROPERTIES HAS MOVED

Larry and Donna Smith have recently relocated their Susanville office. You will now find them in their new office at 120 N. Fairfield St., virtually around the corner from their previous location. Donna tells us the new office space provides them with the much-needed space and plenty of parking for their clients.

Speaking of Smith Properties, they now have a second office in Lake Almanor. They have combined forces with Dennis Mason of Almanor Properties. The new office in Almanor is located at 313 Peninsula Drive.

COME OUT AND JOG

Jesse Dusell, owner of American Improvement Services, is now operating in Susanville. He has a jogging club from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Joggers are under no obligation and can go as often as they want. Set your own pace. The Susanville Jogger’s Club offers incentive, safety in numbers and recreation. All levels welcome. Train for greatness or speed walk for fitness. Improve health, mood, stress level, sleep and life expectancy. “To improve yourself is to improve America.”

A MURDER MYSTERY IN SUSANVILLE

The Susanville Repertoire Company presents Trifles, a murder mystery this weekend, Oct. 14 and 15. The show is at the Elk's Lodge in Susanville. Doors open at 6 p.m., show is at 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Margie's Book Nook in Uptown Susanville. Classical music will be provided by Thomas Braun.

JUNIOR PHEASANT HUNT

The Department of Fish and Game is hosting a junior and women’s pheasant hunt Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15 and 16 and manager Pam Cherney would like to let everyone know there are still openings available.

The women’s hunt is Saturday morning at the Fleming Unit with the junior hunt following in the afternoon. Sunday there will be an a.m. and p.m. hunt at the Dakin Unit for juniors.

Junior hunters must be 16 years and younger and hold a junior hunting license.
