Burn ban went into effect July 1
July 2, 2012 — Calfire announced all dooryard burn permits within Lassen, Modoc and Plumas counties were suspended effective midnight last Saturday, June 30.
The burn ban will continue until formally cancelled by Calfire.
Dooryard burn permits will not be issued and dooryard burning is not allowed during this period of time.
