NEW AT THE FAIR

This year the Lassen County Fair gets off to a start Tuesday, July 17 with an all-new event. Souza's Bucking Bulls presents the Smackdown Bull Riding Tour at 7 p.m. This event will be held in the North Arena at the fairgrounds. Tickets are now on sale at the fair office. Be sure and ask about the family pass. Anyone can sign up to be in the competition, too.

MAIN STREET CRUISE

If you are a car buff, this weekend is meant for you! On Saturday, June 23 it's the 22nd annual Lassen County Chamber of Commerce's Main Street Cruise in Historic Uptown Susanville. The fun begins at 2 p.m. with custom stock and classic cars and motorcycles. It's free admission and promises to be fun for the whole family. Main Street will be closed to traffic. There will be a street dance on Pancera Plaza from 7 to 9 p.m.

LOOKING FOR SOME SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS?

Just Kidding Around Kids Club in Janesville is getting all geared up for their summer program. They have a variety of guest teachers coming. They will be taking field trips to areas around Susanville. Plus they plan on pizza parties, water days and some daytime camping.
