HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Lassen Transfer & Storage has been a family owned and operated business for 48 years. Owners Arlin and Wanda Mallery started the business with a couple of trucks, and now they have moving vans, a public 70-foot scale, self storage containers, closet cubes and more. Their son, John, joined the business in the 1980s. They are members of the California Moving and Storage Association and America Movers Association, which keeps them informed of new rules and regulations.

ANNUAL FISH BOWL SALE

For years Hodge Podge Lodge has had a Fish Bowl sale at the end of every year. Owners Kelly and Tom Smith tell us this year’s event is Friday, Dec. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. You will find everything in the store on sale.

NEW STOCKING STUFFERS

There are some great new items in at Hodge Podge Lodge that are perfect stocking stuffers for that special someone on your list. Luscious lip balm, fragrant car jars from Yankee Candle Co. and more. 

While you're there be sure and check out their new Christmas musical snow globes. They are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

Curt and Dana Hirsche, owners of Leslie's Jewelry in Uptown Susanville, are hosting a Holiday Open House from 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 6. They will be featuring some specials on a distributor’s closeout items. Be sure and stop by for some great deals and holiday cheer.
