Task force arrests suspects

The Lassen County Narcotics Task Force (LCNTF) enforced a traffic stop on an Isuzu Trooper for multiple equipment violations in Susanville about 11:30 a.m. July 6.

The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Dwight Bennett, Roger Stephens and Dena Adams.

Passenger Roger Stephens was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested.

A subsequent vehicle search was conducted and many items of contraband were found.

LCNTF located six separate packages of methamphetamine, a digital scale, small zip lock baggies, concentrated marijuana, smoking pipes, various DEA Schedule 2 opiate pills and various DEA Schedule 4 depressant pills.

The pills included morphine, hydrocodone, diazepam, zolpidem, alprazolam.

All occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession, possession for sale and transportation of methamphetamine and morphine.

The case is being forwarded to the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

I wish people would get the help they need to stay away from this sick drug Meth. It destroy's live's of good people. When people are using that drug, They become our worst enemy. They become dis-honest and it detroy's thier health as well.

I played little league baseball in susanville with Roger, he only has 9 and a half fingers. Sad story up with hope down with dope!!!

It positively is the same Dwight Bennetts. Mr. "I have never done any drugs of any type". Meth is positively the downfall of these folks.

It look's like Dwight Bennett is going to go away for along time. He is living proof of what type of person he has come to be. No wonder why those poor animal's starved to death at Whispering Pines. He was spending his money on METH.Not on them................... :sad:

I imagine he will weasel his way out of this one too. Meth has been found at "Whispering Pines" at some point in the last couple of years. Too many people in and out of the house to prove who it belonged to. . . .Now here we go again. Little Mr. Innocent. Always someone else's fault, never his.

the horse thing has a whole nother side that is public in Grace Foundations county..as in legal issues ... I really cant believe this town is that backstabbing and just doesnt try to help when ppl are doing wrong things..actually explains alot of these youngens around here..yep i just typed that!!

Dwight Bennett is not even out of the wood's for his crime with animal's Stacy and now he is charged with METH.I hope You realize that he is not real smart for his new arrest and it show's us all that we can be guilty of who we associate with.... The other 2 were arrested as well.
