HOME AND GARDEN SHOW THIS SATURDAY
The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Spring Home, Garden and Outdoor Recreation Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Saturday, April 28 at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. There will be many different vendors to welcome your questions and give you ideas for the spring season. You will find everything from outdoor landscaping to interior decorating and everything in between.

MEET THE CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES
On Tuesday, May 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Monticola Club on S. Lassen Street, you will have a chance to meet the candidates running for the city of Susanville City Council. TheHistorical Uptown Susanville Association and Lassen Association of Realtors sponsor this event.
ENROLLMENT OPEN FOR SUMMER CHILDCARE PROGRAM
Tambra Bowles, of Leap Ahead Learning Center, wants to let you know they are now enrolling children, kindergarten through fifth grade in their summer childcare program while availability lasts. They are located at Meadow View School and are open from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Children will have an opportunity to participate in sport programs, arts and crafts, water play, air hockey, board games, Wii and other outdoor activities. Leap Ahead is a licensed day care center with great student-teacher ratios. The staff is fully qualified and certified in CPR and first aid.

IT’S A BOY!
Mike and Hali (of Joy Realty) Warmbrodt welcomed their third child into the world last Wednesday. Kooper Henry Warmbrodt was born weighing 7 lbs, 13 oz and was 21 inches long. He goes home to big brother Kipper and sister Kenslie. Proud grandparents here in Susanville are Hank and Julie (Joy Realty) Thompson. Congratulations to the Warmbrodt family.
