Nov. 18, 2008 — Henry Bietz, superintendent of Westwood Unified School District and principal of Westwood High, received his award as the 2008 superintendent/principal of the Year during a special banquet ceremony Friday, Nov. 7 held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego.
 

DA drops attempted murder, assault charges against Barber

Sept. 19, 2006 — Two local residents, Jamison Lewis Bliss, 22, and Carson Daniel Barber, 20, are free after the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office dropped all charges against them on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
