AAA in Susanville is hosting a Summer Check-up event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 at their Main Street location is where the festivities will be. Stop by for a free car check-up and hot dog. While you are there, get an auto quote and receive a free "adventure kit."

The Susanville Super Tata's (not Susanville Supermarket Tata's) is having their fundraiser at the T&A Lounge from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Rachelle Surian informs us all tips go to their Relay For Life team.

On Friday, July 27, gather your girlfriends for a fun-filled evening as Esther Pretti hosts “Girls Night Out” in Westwood at her place of business, the Walker Mansion Inn on the corner of 3rd and Ash streets. The evening includes a no-host bar, dinner and terrific deals in the gift shop.

Even though we are in the midst of summer, the Historic Uptown Susanville Association is already planning their Fall Crafters Festival. It is set for Saturday, Sept. 15 in Uptown Susanville.
