Eagle Lake bus route starts this Saturday
The route will now operate three times a day every Saturday rather than the first and third Thursdays.
The route will begin this Saturday, May 26 and will run until the Eagle Lake fishing season ends on Dec. 31 or until the county closes Eagle lake Road due to weather.
The route will depart from the Riverside Drive bus stop near Walmart at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6:15 p.m.
Stops along the route include Diamond Mountain Casino, Main and Gay streets, Lake Forest Drive at Eagle Lake Road, Gallatin Marina, the Eagle Lake Store at Spalding, Buck’s Bay at Lakeside Drive and Mariner’s Resort at Stones Landing.
Then the route will reverse itself. It will leave Mariner’s Resort at 11:35 a.m., 4:35 p.m. and at 11:05 p.m.
It is scheduled to return to Riverside Drive at 1:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 12:35 a.m. for the night run.
