It’s time for the third annual Customer Appreciation barbecue at Brian Wilson’s State Farm Insurance office, in combination with Idaho Grocery. It’s set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Thursday, May 31. The Urrutias at Idaho are barbecuing up tri-tip sandwiches and chorizos. It’s a great way for the Wilsons and the Urrutias to show appreciation to their customers.
EXTENDED DEADLINE
The Lassen County Fair has extended the deadline for the Old Timer’s contest and the Grand Marshall for the parade. The new deadline is Friday, June 8. Applications are available on their website, lassencountyfair.org or in the fair office.

HIGH DESERT BRAWL #8 THIS WEEKEND
The 8th annual High Desert Brawl will be held June 2 at the Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel parking lot. The ladies at the Gift Boutique in Susanville have just finished relocating to their new store, right next door to their old one. The new location has three times the shopping space and merchandise.
