CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Traci Witry-Alby, owner of The Pioneer Saloon, would like everyone to know the bar is closed until further notice. Her husband Steve (who ran the business) was in a very serious accident and is not able to return to work at this time.
DISPOSE OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS
If you have old prescription drugs lying about in your medicine cabinets and don't know what to do with them, now you can properly dispose of them with the Take Away system from Walgreens. You can purchase this bag for a minimal fee; enclose your prescriptions and place in the mail. It's completely confidential. Pharmacist BJ Goodridge reminds us they also have RX Lockers available, as all your prescriptions drugs should be locked up. For more information on this service they are now providing you can stop by the store anytime.
On another note, Walgreens pharmacy is also offering the whooping cough vaccine; now mandatory for some students enrolling in the next school year.

Lassen Aurora Network (a non-profit organization) Gift/Craft Shop is now open in Susanville. They are open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. They are currently accepting consignment items as well. Be sure and stop by to see what they have.
