July 24, 2012 — Registration is open for the annual High Power Soccer and Vacation Bible School offered by four Janesville churches.

This year’s event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 6 through Friday, Aug. 10 at Janesville School. The event is open to children ages 5 to 10 and is free of charge. Each child will receive a free T-shirt.

To register, call 253-3422 or online at vbs@standishbiblechurch.org.

The program includes soccer drills, skits, Bible lessons, snacks and plenty of water. No previous soccer experience is necessary.

Special care and attention is given to the health, safety and security of the campers. Children are encouraged to invite their friends, and parents are welcome to meet in the hospitality area at any time during the camp.

Standish Bible Church, Janesville Christian Fellowship, the Log Cabin Church and Honey Lake Valley Assembly are working together to offset costs, give access to more volunteers and build a strong community of Christian believers. The camp provides an opportunity for children to come to know Jesus through the gospel message, develop a personal relationship with him, make new friends and to just have fun.
