Sale of Surplus Property
The Janesville Fire Protection District Board of Directors has authorized the sale of declared surplus property.
The Board is seeking sealed bids for the sale of a fire apparatus pumper. Minimum bid: $2,000.00 dollars.
Description: 1982 GMC 7000 Grumman Wildcat pumper powered by a GM 427ci gasoline engine with a manual 5spd transmission, Waterous CLNK 450 gpm PTO pump, and an 1100-gallon water tank. Apparatus has 14,235 miles and has been stored inside as a reserve pumper. Apparatus will have a ladder complement and suction hose included.
Tools, fittings, and hose are not included.
Apparatus is sold as is.
Bidders must include name, mailing address, and phone number.
Purchaser is responsible for pickup and loading of property. Purchaser has 7 days to remove property after payment.
Deadline for sealed bids to purchase must be received at the Main Street Fire Station, 463-390 Main St., Janesville, CA 96114 by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, June 9, 2015. They can either be delivered in person or mailed to P.O. Box 40, Janesville, CA 96114. The Board will open all sealed bids at its regular meeting convening Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 6:30 pm at the Main Street Fire Station. The highest bidder will be notified via telephone call.
