LET THE REMODELING BEGIN
Headquarters Salon in Susanville will be closed for a bit to remodel the salon. Owner Donna Weeks informs us they will be closed beginning July 23 and reopening Aug. 7. If you need to get your hair done prior to that, you should call right away to make your appointment. Donna said they want to thank their customers in advance for their patience while they remodel.
CELEBRATING FIVE YEARS
Treats Dog Company owners Monte and Joanie Keilty, who are animal lovers themselves, tell us they are celebrating their fifth anniversary with their Chester store. That store was so warmly welcomed they decided to open a second store in the Susanville area four years ago. If you have a four-legged friend, reptiles or birds, they have everything you need for your pets. Stop by their Main Street locations in both Chester and Susanville.
PRODUCE STAND NOW OPEN!
Martin’s Produce and Greenhouse has opened their fruit and vegetable stand in Susanville. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you will find in-season fruits and vegetables and brown eggs. Out in Standish at the greenhouses, they have their End of Season Sale still going on. The produce stand is located at the corner of Johnstonville Road and San Francisco Street. HUGE PICK BOX ALL OF JULY
Shirley Robinson, owner of The Bead Shop in Susanville, invites everyone to come and check out the giant pick box she was able to get for the entire month of July. NIKE REP COMING TO TOWN
Lassen Youth Football and Cheer tells us they will be bringing the Nike representative from Reno to the National Guard Armory in Susanville from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7. This is a great opportunity for anyone playing football to get cleats, compression shirts and the other supplies you will be in need of for the upcoming football season.
