March 1 — The Westwood Lady Jacks’ winning streak continues.

On Friday, Feb 28, the Westwood High School girl’s basketball team hosted Princeton High School for a round two Northern Section Division VI playoff game. Westwood had a bye in the first week of playoffs.

Although the game was neck-and-neck throughout the first quarter with the score often tied, the Lady Jacks dominated the last three quarters and celebrated a 56-35 win at the end of the night.

The gym at Westwood High School was packed with both Lady Jacks and Princeton fans who were loud and excited during the entire game.

It looked like it was going to be a close game in the beginning, as both teams were playing hard and the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter displayed a 9-9 tie.
